Of course, you guys know I'm a prog fan. I've used prog to influence huge parts of my stories: Genesis' "The Fountain of Salmacis," "The Battle of Epping Forest," "The Cinema Show," "Supper's Ready," and The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway fueled tons of stuff, Dream Theater's "In the Presence of Enemies," the Twelve-Step Suite, Octavarium and A Dramatic Turn of Events fueling more Rapture-related stuff, Between the Buried and Me's Colors and The Great Misdirect fueling everything and now even The Silent Circus giving me Choir ideas.

But I think I've hit the jackpot. I found an underground band called SunSetters. Apparently, their albums all share a "mythos" with each other, the lyrics for songs being creepypasta. I'm still getting into them, but the two albums I've heard are already perfect.

Just look at the album art.

DEBUT

This is their self-titled debut album. The songs are linked only in that they are all creepypasta within the same universe, though that's it.

THE EXCAVATE

This is their third album, The Excavate. This album revolves around creepypasta taking place in an unnamed ocean. There's even a suite about a beast called "Ichor." o_____o I have already made this album cover the blog's background.

So, did I hit the jackpot or did I hit the jackpot?

EDIT: Damn, those are some high-quality arts. o_e Stretched the page.

EXHIBITS:
Viceking's Graab (Step inside the maze. You could spend an eternity here.)
The Mythology of Empathy (Eight songs, nine tracks. Welcome death.)
Ancestor (Five tracks. Death of the Artist and Chinese mythology.)
Fear (A visual art exhibit in blog format.)
Nobody anymore, never again (Another visual art exhibit in blog format.)
The Everyblogger Triad: 1, 2, 3 (Embrace the bad writing, give into your psyche.)
PLAN 31 (Frank Slenderman: Ace Attorney)
OH GOD THE RAPTURE IS BURNING (400,000 words. Five months. All Fears. Excess. On fifth draft, not final.)
Topography Genera (15 blogs. Conventional horror. See seas rise.)

I'd love to listen to their songs, but I can't seem to find them on Google. Do you have a webpage for them?

...OKAY so the album art was by Jane and me and her came up with the concepts. xD;;; You got me.

But y'know, I figured the readers wouldn't know that. We can craft a really uncanny discography.

...goddamn you, you got me all excited about some new music and now I can't listen to it!

But that totally reminds me of an episode of Fringe, where they had a band Walter really liked called "Violet Sedan Chair." And then it turned out that they actually made an album for "Violet Sedan Chair" and snuck it into record stores. (You can actually listen to the songs here.)

Anyway: this is pretty awesome. But I still want to hear music!

That's like the cult classic film This is Spinal Tap, which was a mockumentary about a fictional British 80s hair metal band. They wound up actually going and releasing some of the albums mentioned in the film. It helped that the actors were all musicians and music-lovers (the bassist is Principal Skinner from The Simpsons!).

But yeah, we'll see if we can find a way to make some kinda music.

You mean Spinal Tap isn't real? But I have their album "Smell the Glove"!

So! After a montage of silliness and drawing up the goofy face, Jordan had decided that it'd be rad to have some hidden message on each of the album covers.

I came up with something fitting. <3

I see the "Hello" in the first album cover.

Smell the Glove is not real, and neither is Spinal Tap. They're strictly comedy. One of my favouiite films of all time.

BUT YEAH, Jane mentioned the hidden message. alliterator, I think the hidden messages on the albums are the kind of thing you'd love.

EDIT: Yes, first album is "Hello." Second album would be something, third album is....

We're planning for all their albums to have hidden messages that form a very specific phrase when put together. >W>

If you need someone to play an instrument for the band, I can play the triangle. Well, if I had a triangle, I could play it. I think.

Just not a drummer, because everyone knows how they end up.

(If it wasn't obvious, I've seen This is Spinal Tap, too, and thought it was awesome.)
