SO.

I've been reading some of the material involving The Wooden Girl.

And "Heart-Shaped Glasses" by Marilyn Manson is now forever connected to the thought of her in my head.

There's just something about the lyrics that seem fitting for The Harlequin and her victims.

What do you people think? 6_6

I dunno, I often associate dark ambient music with this Mythos, and anything that is dark, ambient, and staticy/glitchy with Slenderman in particular.

You're not out of the woods yet... and you never truly will be.

What about 'I Love Livin' in the City' by 'Fear'?

Otherwise I feel like the music of Joy Division befits the mythos, probably because I discovered both around the same time.

Meatloaf's "In The Land Of The Pig, The Butcher Is King!" - ALL THE GODDAMN FEARS!
Namely the lines:
"Their lives are truly meaningless and we are busy being blessed with ALL THAT WE CAN TAKE AND POCKET, NO ONE NEEDS TO KNOW!"

and "Can't you hear the choir now? Listen to the animals sing! Can't you hear the slaughter house bells, IN THE LAND OF THE PIG, THE BUTCHER IS KING!"

"You need people like me so you can point your fuckin' fingers and say, "That's the bad guy." "

Mogwai is good for writing - no lyrics, lots of creepy music. Their soundtrack for Les Revenants is great, as is [urlhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=83GpuL_wUq4]Happy Songs for Happy People[/url] (with such songs as "Kids Will Be Skeletons" and "Boring Machine Disturbs Sleep").

But let's get on with it, shall we? Fear Mythos soundtrack:

1. Satin in a Coffin - Modest Mouse
2. Tick Eats the Olives/Roots - Devendra Banhart
3. Blood Makes Noise - Suzanne Vega
4. Devil Town - Daniel Johnston
5. In the Room Where You Sleep - Dead Man's Bones

That's all I can think of right now.

The SMiling Man: "Hey there delilah" by Plain White tee's(?), "Delilah" by....that one guy, and "Stalker Song" by.....some other person.

Not sure if this has been said yet (I feel it has, but I can't find where) "Night Surgeon" from REPO!The Genetic Opera for Plague Doctor. And for some reason I imagine The Archangel killing someone while singing "Thankless Job"

"You need people like me so you can point your fuckin' fingers and say, "That's the bad guy." "

Computer God by Black Sabbath seems very fitting for the more "digital" aspects of the Manufactured Newborn like the Thoughtborn.

And Joker, Night Surgeon was named in a really old thread I started, but I see no reason why not to post it here as that thread is unlikely to be seen by many ever again. :P

Angus Maclise trance 2 is dreamlike in my opinion. So I associate that with the grotesque.
