Just found out that there's a page for Mephi and it's characters.

1) That is awesome.
2) I have pictures of Lisa, I-330, and Grendel which littleWhiteRABBIT drew a while back. I suppose I should add them to the wiki for the sake of ART.

Reprinting from the discussion that's emerged on the Wiki.

To clarify: The Outer Fears section has (and will continue to have, provided I am not grossly out-voted), as defined, beings who are not (or not yet) part of the Fear Mythos proper, BUT easily could be. I plan to add more as I discover or remember them - I expect principally from creepypasta, though I wouldn't rule out urban legend or folklore. (Not that I mean it's mine and no one else gets to edit it, but I have been the only one really working on it so far...)

Think of it as inspiration. I think it's good that each author pins down things about how the Fears work in each blog, but it concerns me when everyone begins to standardise too much about them across the entire body of the mythos. Every fear has one unique domain, and its own unique types of servants, in any blog it appears? I'm already uncomfortable with that, because any blog you read, as soon as you figure out who it is this time you know more or less what you've gotten into and the kind of freakiness to be prepared for. I shy away from the Great Game entirely because I feel as though having them all have any one thing they all value enough to fight over for makes them too comprehensible, even if we don't understand what the nature of the fight. Let there be no certain revelation. Even the act of classifying them all as 'fears' is to imply that they are more similar to each other than is necessarily warranted - it may be a reasonable perception for the characters to have, but the artists should use the category only in the loosest of senses, and I'm not sure that we remember to do that consistently.

I have very few ideas for blogs and no one to narrate them. The Horrorshow and the occasional creepypasta are probably the closest I'll come to actually writing anything for the Mythos. But I also don't want to see the body of works become overly rigid or stagnant. This is a Mythos, after all, and the last thing any Mythos is is consistent. I like to think that by bringing things in like this, that are not from the Mythos and yet are nonetheless where it started, I can help keep that from happening while still helping to retain the original spirit.

Please?

I agree with you.

I think the Living Statues page just took us by surprise because it hadn't influenced anything in the Mythos yet.

Strictly speaking, neither had HABIT... though I suppose that at least had the advantage of having a connection to other Slenderblogs first (and being a smaller article).

Also, EverymanHABIT introduced the Rake into the Slender Man Mythos.

People are actually using the wiki to learn about the Fear Mythos now. I am afraid. >3

I told them to ignore me. They didn't listen.

A man in a gas mask. A man without a face. A face without a man. A shadow of your former self. A boy in isolation. A girl who pulls the strings. A man who is a dog. A dog made of men. A man who has our pasts. A blur in our perception. A convocation of birds. A thing with ill will. A judge in the sun. A beast below.

An eldritch Rapture.

Rapture is coming.

Don’t go in the Doors.

That's a secret.

A little birdy told me a prolific Slender writer wants to write about the Mother of Snakes. -growls- She needs to be careful with our baby.

Hey, she read through the wiki on her own, and I gave her links to the blogs that the Mother's been used in. No reason to get all growly.

No anti-noob thoughts here. Just protective. ;) Besides, the person in question has been writing for a long time. She isn't a newb, and she respects the Fears enough to research them before using them. (I think?)

I'm excited to see things like this happening, especially the Wiki being used in the way it was meant to be. <3
