Lilith asked a question regarding the Odin code: Do you like jigsaw puzzles?

The Odin code could be a Playfair cipher then? I don't know how literally to take that, looking into other ciphers now.

Not really sure where to go from here. The binary of the title translates to the ASCII character for 9, and the binary before this bit of code translates to a string of 9 numbers. So that's interesting.

A writer’s brain is full of little gifts, like a piñata at a birthday party. It’s also full of demons, like a piñata at a birthday party in a mental hospital. The truth is, it’s demons that keep a tortured writer’s spirit alive, not Tootsie Rolls. Sure they’ll give you a tiny burst of energy, but they won’t do squat for your writing. So treat your demons with the respect they deserve, and with enough prescriptions to keep you wearing pants.

I would like to once again point out that I did not post the code on Sycamore Project. I have no idea who got into my blogspot and did this, or who would ape XOR by blending it into the blog, but there's a reason for it... I'm not sure it's a good one. Someone is trying to send a message, to us? I don't know.

I tried on the Sycamore code but I'm not able to figure it out. Did decode the thrice-base64 and the title but that was as far as I got.

Okay, so I was thinking about how in the note that the Dionysian Mysteries Hacker sent to the Archive, they said that the Archive and Premetheus were "One True Pairing." Capitalized, like that. I wonder if that could be hint? The one-time pad cipher is also referred to as OTP.

Solved it, a few typos here and there I can't reason out:

Odin is our Grandfather to whom we are all related, thanks to whom we are all gifted. Odin goes by many names: Tiresias, Subject Bravo Mike, FT-CREMATOR, even Thamyris was His name at one point.Odin won the Great Game once. The Gods celebrated Him in worship, and Odin took and in ambiguity.Odin stared the heavens, from where he could see all of Earth, all of Tuonela, all of Jotunheim, all of the Topographic Ocean, all of Niflheimr, all of the Grove of Fetters, all of Xanadu, all of Ceesrais and Coestts, and all of That Fiction Beyond All This Friction.

From Odin's natural throne with its sacred black leaves, He delivered humanity, from its Beacon of Hope, into its Golden Era.The Golden Era did not exist sempiternal, as humanity in three pacts of three devised a plan to overthrow Him. Each pact consisted of one rhapsodist, one diseuse, and one philosopher. The philosophers approached Odin's tree, one by one, and each time Odie fsmurd down to listen to their plea, for Odin was a kind and just Grandfather."King Odin," the first philosopher bellowed up the tree, "Won't You come down to discuss with me the goings-on of Everything And Tomorrow?"Odin considered this, but as He gazed off into the Grove He could see Kratos and He [could see the philosopher] laughing amongst themselves, so He sternly shook His head and would not allow an audience with this philosopher.Meanwhile, the first diseurese spake blasphemies to wandering settlers and travelers, but no one paid her any attention, for Odin was a kind and just Grandfather and the diseuse was just a vagabond. Meanwhile, the first rhapsodist sang tales of war crimes and dictators to those passing by, but no one paid him any attention, for Odin was a kind and just Grandfather and the rhapsodist was just a fool.

"Tyrant Odin," the second philosopher cried up the tree, "Won't You come down to discuss with me the politics of The Alx?" Odin considered this, but as He gazed off into the Niflheimr, He could see Set readying his knife towards Ochosi, so He shouted back down a stern "No, now be gone!" Meanwhile, the second diseuse spake simple descriptions of the world's decline to wandering barters and merchants, but few paid her any attention, for Odin was a just Grandfather and the diseuse was just a child. Meanwhile, the second rhapsodist sang tales of rebellion and retribution to those passing by, but few paid her any attention, for Odin was a just Grandfather and the rhapsodist was just a woman.

"All-Knowing Odin," the third philosopher prayed up the tree, "Won't You come down to answer one True Genuine question for me?"Odin considered this, and as He gazed off into the Earth, He could see doubts raising about His status, so He rose from His throne and descended the branches towards the ground.Meanwhile, the third diseuse spake praise for Odin from behind bruises and a sore throat, and people paid her attention and applauded her with scruples and guilt under a veil of worship.Meanwhile, the third rhapsodist sang tales of human heroes and of Rapture and metamorphoses, and people paid her attention and were polarized in support of Fetters,

His place atop the tallest tree in the philosopher in the eyes, aware of the red sky forming over His presence, and asked, "What is your question, my beloved grandchild?"The third philosopher refused to look into Odin's eyes, electing but to watch His shadow. As all nine worlds watched, the third philosopher held out her right hand, stained red with blood, and asked, "Why did you do this to us?"

A murder of Sielulintu flew from the tree, darkening the red skies until they were black with grief. When Odin turned to look at His beautiful tree, He saw with stunned silence that it had never had leaves at all; the birds had been covering every branch. The third philosopher had risen by the time Odin turned back. In her bloody right hand, she clutched a glowing white dagger. Her left hand gripped His shoulder as tightly as His reign had been over humanity. That was the day the Golden Era ended. That was the day the Great Game resumed. That was the day Grandfather was blinded. The third philosopher, Odin's eyes in her grasp, ran off into the distance, to which world He has never known. It was on that day that Odin returned to His own private world, the world of Knowledge. No longer our kind ruler, He is now our studious Grandfather, keeper of memory. This is why we are here. We are His Archivists, the eternal librarians who assist Grandfather in his documentation of all there is to be known. We do not question what Grandfather is seeking to know, or even if He is seeking to know anything in particular. We were chosen to serve as His disciples, and that is all there is to be known for us.- Scribe T'Der

Great job, Apostate! :D How did you do it? I'm asking because the Premetheus code looks like it might be something similar.

It turned out to be Base 64 first (thank you based DJay), and the second cipher was a skip (hence SKIP) with an N of 5. All the sentences were out of order, though, so it was also a matter of proofreading and putting them in places that made sense.

Oh. The third philosopher was Lilith. "Red right hand". She blinded The Blind Man. Well there goes our chance with looking for information with him, as we have been openly been associating with her. Now, try applying that method to the code on the last post of the archive website please.

I don't know about Lilith being the third philosopher, The identity of the three may or may not be a thing, though the actions of the other named gods in the story is probably important in some way...

So Kratos was laughing with the Philosopher apparently...

and Set was readying a knife against Ochosi...

Sielulintu was obscuring the fact the tree was dead and blackened the sky...

Also a few possible references to Rapture in there though whether that's important or just DJay making some references to his work is unknown...
