A series bible would be for a verse, series, story, basically for something with set rules. Our mythos needs something different. So I whipped up a manifesto. The manifesto is on a blog because most of our mythos is on blogs. We don't need a website to spread the Fear name (though one can always be made), not when a blog'll do just fine.
So this blog may at the moment only host the manifesto, but over time it will replace the direction the series bible was going in: It should start getting content in the form of articles that discuss writing in this mythos, maybe some posts tracing the lineages of certain Fears, maybe some highlights again. Basically, we do need a centralization of community, but we also need to really stress the decentralization of content.
I'll also whip up a vlog companion to the manifesto at some point, to represent the other side of our mythos.
Yes, the video is mainly me reading from a piece of paper (and smoking like a fucking train), but dammit that makes it feel more set in stone! There are also some bonuses. Not including my complete mess-up of Cute's birthday.
