I need a little help with a project I'm in the midst of.

I need objects, preferably small ones, that you tend to associate with the mythos. Any objects that spring to mind are fine, I just need some help brainstorming =P

Blogs: Begin the Case Study

Stories: Are being written. Right now. I swear.

With the Mythos, itself? Hm... Candles. Dolls. Dead things (like dead flowers, not corpses. ...Okay, corpses too).

Incomplete/ongoing projects:
All There Is To Life - the mundane musings of a housewife (collab with GraciousVictory).
Darker Side of Sympathy; it's almost like understanding.
The World is Crazy... We're not the crazy ones (multiple author collab).

Completed projects:
City of Sinopia - join the Scarlet-Marked.
No Cowards - stand and be brave.
Over the River, and through the woods.
Residency; mind over matter.
This Could Be Heaven or this could be hell.
Within the Game Master's Universe: Blair H, Alice Baxendale, and Marcus Finn.

Other Mythos-related projects (non-blogs):
Be Careful. You only get three.
Virtually Reality. Would you like to quit the game?
Virtually Reality 2: New Game Plus. Would you like to continue the game? (Collab with GraciousVictory.)
Creepypasta: 'The Cage', "The Suicide Note of an Anonymous Mother', and 'The Shrouded One'.

feathers, dead bugs, bones, glass eyes

A writer’s brain is full of little gifts, like a piñata at a birthday party. It’s also full of demons, like a piñata at a birthday party in a mental hospital. The truth is, it’s demons that keep a tortured writer’s spirit alive, not Tootsie Rolls. Sure they’ll give you a tiny burst of energy, but they won’t do squat for your writing. So treat your demons with the respect they deserve, and with enough prescriptions to keep you wearing pants.

I am the world first Moral Absurdist. I noticed that there was not a philosophical term as such, so I coined it. Moral Absurdism: The belief that the concepts of "good" and evil" do not exist, and that morality is a sham, yet deciding to embrace the absurdity of that and hold a moral system anyways. The logical conclusion of nihilism. See also: Absurdism, Existentialism.

Just this Mythos: Mirrors. Dolls. Personal demons. Fear (the emotion). Symbolism (as a concept). Blogs and blogging. Writing one chapter over the course of three days. Snowfall, particularly if it's part of a winter storm. Large flocks of ravens or crows. Swarms of bees/wasps/hornets.

Specific to Slenderman, but can fold into this Mythos: Ciphers, codes, and puzzles. Cameras. Paranoia. Insanity and mental instability. Coughing. Forests, especially pine forests. Parks, especially large ones with lots of trails and especially if there's odd structures on or off trail, like tunnels. Static/white noise. Black business suits, particularly if paired with a black or red tie. Masks. Obfuscation/crypticness. The unknown. Curiosity. The feeling of being watched/followed.

You're not out of the woods yet... and you never truly will be.

Blogs:
In The Dark Shadows ~ Between the Party Lines ~ Open Season ~ Shelly Loves Succulents ~ Night Class (STCZ) ~ Breaking The Waves (STCZ) ~ Graham, Positive ~ Twelve Days

Short Stories:
Project Him, a Slenderman vignette collection. ~ The Sycamore Project, decrypted tales of the Tall One. ~ The City claims another within its Drywall and Wiring ~ Got a MachineHead, it's better than the rest.
