I,, see that. most fear blogs are horror/urban fantasy/magic realism/apocalyptic
Now,, I propose a challenge to. change that up a bit.

Write,, a genre you don't. normally write in.
Write,, Sci-Fi
Write,, Fantasy
Write,, Drama
Write,, Surreal Fiction
Write,, Steampunk

you,, know. whatever.

here's, a list of genres. and subgenres: CLICK (Warning: TV Tropes)

It,, could be fun seeing what. the fears are capable of in other genres.
I'll,, be doing. one as well.

Who's,, in?

I might have plans for a fantasy story. Dark fantasy, but still. Haven't written any of that since I was around 10. And I am working on something that will probably count as surrealist.

...I have too many plans.

Anyway, good idea!

Unseelie - The place where giants rule

Journal of the days after - Torn from xer awful embrace

Mene, Mene, Tekel, Upharsin - Read it and weep

Our Cyclical Dance - Endlessly in on itself

I'm on Tumblr and DeviantArt.

So look at the fleeting stars with fleeting eyes, and feel how the earth beneath you gives. It is all a temporary manifestation of particles, and it is all unraveling back to particulate silence. The bustle of the human day will come and will go. And then there will be night. -WtNV

Please elaborated on "Surreal Fiction". I may have created a setting that may fit under it.

Edit: Never mind, i found out what it was. Count me in, using a fantasy/horror/Sci-fi fusion.

A genre I don't normally write in... Hmm That's a tough one... I mean most of the genres I don't normally write in are because I have no understanding of the genre...

Hmm... Alright I got it... I'm gonna write a romance story.

I am gonna write a romance fear blog. Yes...

Let's use a Fear I don't use often to qualify for two challenges currently going.

Edit: Wait... I did already do a romantic fear blog...

Damn it... Um...

Looking over the list gonna try my hand at a legend.

Yeah let's do a legend involving a fear I don't normally write... Hmm... The Eye? I don't think I've ever made The Eye important in anything I've ever written... Line to Texas probably doesn't count... Or better yet EAT! Or BOTH! Yes...

I'm not crazy I just use a different definition of sanity...

The Forum Blunt Instrument. "Because sometimes the only way to get through to someone is with a sledgehammer."

Archon of Chaos.

Leader of the Cult of Filik.

Amalgam series goes in this order
Prestidigitation>Urban Malefic>The World Through These Eyeholes>Cold and Lonely Days>Metaphysical Fiction and Dawghouse>No Gods No Masters>Unlikely World>Epilogic
>Cresting The Wave

Extra stories that tie into The Somniverse at points and are not linked in the stories.
Sing to me Songs of The darkness>The One and Only
Last Rites

Anyone who wants to join me as a team for the challenge is welcome to.

...and I just try listed that this is kinda shameless advertising...CRUMS!!! I can live with my shame! Let me bleeeeed! (*Cough Cough* Red cap *cough*).

But seareuesly, is entering this setting agents the rules?

Somehow, even though this is the Fear Mythos, I don't end up writing much horror (at least within the Mythos). Perhaps it's time to change that?

Well I did have this idea for a romance story that I gave up on because I couldn't figure out several parts. But that was not Fear related. (Instead werewolves. o.O)
Maybe I can write it as a Fear story. Maybe.

...I knew people would think that.
I promise it has nothing to do with that unspeakable thing. It would definitly be a better love story, but then again everything is a better love story than Twilight.
I promise there will be no vampires, shiny or otherwise.
I'm not even sure if the werewolves will stay since they might be replaced by some Fear related thing.

I've got other stuff I want to write at the moment, but if need be I will create the most Twilight-y Fear story in all existence. And as you look upon the fiery ruins left in its wake, you will shed a tear and ask yourself, "Why. Why did I bring this monstrosity down upon the world."

I'm a Cat so obviously my curiosity has been piqued and it will be the end of me (and millions of non-feline people).
